Lexie and Tucker were married on September 24th at William H. Buckley Farm in Ballston Lake, NY on a gorgeous Saturday afternoon. I first spoke with Lexie back in May of 2016 when she hired us as her Month of Coordinator. She was so fun to talk to and I knew we were going to hit it off immediately.
Their wedding was very DIY....to the point where Lexie and Tucker would visit a nearby beach in Brooklyn to scour for glass vases that washed ashore. As soon as they arrived at Buckley Farm, we rolled up our sleeves and started decorating the barn. Friday was flower day! Lexie had purchased her flowers from fiftyflowers.com so we got to work early Friday putting together centerpieces, ceremony flowers and Lexie's personal flowers. We had so much fun creating the arrangements and it got us all so excited for the big day!
Saturday began in Saratoga Springs, traveling to Ballston Lake for an early site check. Lexie and Wendy finished all the last minute details but then it was time for her to sit back, relax and get pampered! Meanwhile, Tucker (who happens to be a badass drummer for the band Thursday!) and his boys were back in house #2 kicking back with a couple of cocktails and having way too much fun!
After the gorgeous ceremony which included a hand fasting tradition, guests made their way to the farm's milking parlor/pavilion area for appetizers and cocktails then headed upstairs to the barn for an amazing feast of salad, pasta and pizza by the always delish, Classic Crust Mobile Catering!
The day was nothing short of spectacular (as evidenced by the beautiful photos!) Thank you Lexie and Tucker for allowing us to be a part of your amazing day. We will never forget your day. XOXO - Wendy
